If you are unsure as to which product you need and you have a digital camera, then just take a few photographs of the particular Doors and Windows and email them to info@dgsecurity.co.uk together with the rough sizes of the relevant parts of the openings. Alternatively fax the sizes to us on 0113 248 7858. We work in millimetres but can convert from feet and inches. We will then get back to you with some Product Options together with prices.

BASED IN WEST YORKSHIRE

We are based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We have installation teams for many of our products across the UK. So if you feel that you are unable to fit the products yourself or get a Local Joiner or Handyman to do it for you, (which would probably be the cheapest option), then we can give you a Budget Estimate for carrying out the work based upon the information that you provide. Digital photographs of each opening will enable us to give you a more accurate Estimate for the work. Once you have an Estimate from us and decide you want to go ahead, we would then need to carry out a Final Survey to be able to give you a firm Quotation for the work. This survey is chargeable and would be payable prior to us carrying out the Survey.

 
WHAT IS INVOLVED IN FIXING THESE PRODUCTS
If you are a handy DIY person with an electric drill and electric screwdriver, you should be able to fit most of our products relatively easily as in principle you are simply drilling, plugging and fitting screws into the wall to make the product secure. Roller Shutters require a little more care during installation as they need to be fitted level and square. However we have designed our Roller Shutters to slot together quite easily making them the best suited for home installation.
 
MEASURING UP
As many of our products are adjustable, taking measurements is fairly easy to do. Roller Shutters and Made to Measure Folding Grilles however, do need to be measured more accurately. We will send you full instructions on how to do it correctly to reduce the risk of error to an absolute minimum.
