A Fire Exit Door often needs a folding screen, or retractable gate to provide additional security for vulnerable Fire Exit doors. Fitted internally they double the security of a vulnerable Fire Exit door. Being steel folding security gates, providing a concertina door, they fold back and hinge to the side when not required for Security. During the day with a Fire Exit door open, provides security and ventilation, preventing sneak-in burglaries.

Our CS80 Folding Screens for Fire Exit Doors, are Folding
Security Gates that provide valuable additional Security for
those vulnerable Emergency Exit Doors. Fitted internally they
double the Security of Fire Escapes. Being a Steel folding
security grille, they fold back and hinge to the side when not
required for Security. During the day with a Fire Exit door open,
provides security and ventilation, preventing sneak-in burglaries.

This adjustable Trackless product is the perfect solution for providing extra security to those Fire Exit Doors with vulnerable Push Bars. The Fire Exit Door can be left Open with the Grille across and secure, to provide ventilation on those warm days.

Specifically designed for securing emergency exit doors and vulnerable glass door entrances, the CS80 is based on our very successful Diamondor.

The CS80 has intermediate tubular steel lattice bars, which reduce the pitch of the diamonds to 80 mms making a tight diamond pattern. This combined with our S71 Emergency Lock System, which incorporates a lock protection plate, prevents intruders from reaching through the lattices to unlock the gate. Particularly effective against “smash and grab” raids. For non-emergency applications, our L205 Slamlock can be used, and locked and unlocked from both sides of the door.

The CS80 with our S71 Emergency Lock, is used on Fire Escapes or Doors where it is necessary to be able to lock from one side with a key and be able to open from the other side with a thumbturn. There are no tracks to worry about. Using the Butt hinges supplied allows the grille to hinge round and fold flat against the wall when not required, without reducing the width of the doorway – important for emergency access.

Available for immediate delivery in the standard height of 2000 mms but can easily be cut down at our factory prior to dispatch, to suit your particular height of opening. This will extend delivery by a couple of days.

	CS80 emergency retractable gates are ideal for use on Fire Escapes or any area or doorway where it is necessary to be able to lock from one side with a key and be able to open from the other side with a Thumbturn.

Easy to Fit and Easy to Use

The CS80 comes as a complete grille and automatically adjusts to any width up to it’s maximum. The two Hinges and one Lock provided can be fitted on either the left or right hand side of the Grille, to suit your opening requirements.

The S71 Lock System has thumbturn operation from the inside and key operation from the outside, providing keyless emergency release.

The L205 grille simply slams closed onto the lock keep to secure and operated from either side.
Once the CS80 is unlocked, it will then fold back and hinge round to fold flat against the wall. Being trackless it is very easy to operate.

When Ordering

Simply measure the opening width, then height respectively. Prices exclude delivery. Ideally email us a digital photograph of each opening so that we can give you any specific advice we feel important to make the installation easier and the Security Solution stronger.

We will determine the height of the CS80 that you actually need from the overall height of the opening, and the system of fixing that you choose.

If you need a stronger fixing or require packers, we do carry the S8 – 38 mm x 38 mm Posts in stock.
