Our FS50 Perforated Mesh security grille provides a crime shield and gives excellent Security for both doors and windows, fitted externally.  Security Grilles are Steel Grilles and are key to providing real Security for both windows and doors.  They are also known as Security Bars, Security Grill, as well as Window Grilles and Security Gates.  Our FS50  provides Security with Style looking very neat, but being Secured by Design and Insurance Approved provides very effective Security for windows and doors.

Glass can be broken out of sheer vandalism or to gain entry to a property for the purpose of Burglary. So fitting Security Grilles internally will not satisfy the problem

You have TWO options to protect the glass from vandalism - both fitted externally - Security Roller Shutters OR FS50 Perforated Mesh Security Grille. The FS50 is a lower cost option and does not require maintenance. Is the first form of Insurance Approved window security concieved as an Architectural Product. Transmits in excess of 60% of incidental light.

Specification

 2 mm thick galvanised steel sheet with a matrix of perforations to provide 60% free area.  Coating – full polyester external grade sandwich locked into a heavy gauge two piece aluminium extruded frame system, mitred, keyed and welded.

Finished in Black or White baked powder coating – full polyester external grade.  Optional frame colours available.

Fixing depends on window type.  Most common fixing types are i) face fix into window frame  ii) inset mount (between reveals) OR iii) face fix direct to the brick work.  The FS50 must have fixings at a maximum of 200 mms apart; the FS50 Economy a maximum of 500 mms.

This product is Secured By Design having passed the Loss Prevention Council tests to LPS 1175.
