My
Spot 200 Parking Space Saver
w/Remote Control |

MySpot
200 is a low cost, self-contained, remote controlled
barrier. It is self-powered and restricts unauthorized
access to parking spaces, driveways, and access ramps
while providing the convenience of remote control to
authorized vehicles.
MySpot 200 uses a proprietary method of capturing energy
from the vehicle's weight and storing the power to lower
and raise the barrier on command. This eliminates the need
to connect the device to an electrical power source, or
the bulk and cost of batteries with solar panel
recharging. Installation is simple and fast - no digging
or major site preparation is required. MySpot 200 is
mounted on the surface of the parking space or driveway
using bolts or a highway-grade adhesive. |

The
energy storage system and the electronics that manage it are
sealed in a rugged housing ("PowerPod"), to resist water,
debris and harsh environment. A second housing ("IdlePod"),
without active components, is mounted on the other end of
the barrier acting as a bearing.
The barrier comes in a standard length of 43" (109 cm) and
stands 16.5" (42 cm) tall when raised. A "Reserved" reflective label is affixed to the front of the barrier.
If excessive force is applied to the barrier, a safety
mechanism acts to disengage the barrier from the PowerPod.
This prevents internal damage to the pod mechanism, to the
barrier itself, and protects the bases from being pulled off
the driveway should excessive force be applied to the
barrier. A disengaged barrier will automatically re-engage
when the force is removed.
MySpot 200 is supplied with a radio transmitter. The system
can accommodate up to 15 transmitters. The radio receiver is
powered by Alkaline "D" batteries with over 3 years' life
expectancy.
An optional mounting plate comes with the MySpot at no
additional cost that glues or bolts to a driveway and the
PowerPod is bolted to it. This allows removal of the unit
for road maintenance.

An affordable,
mains powered, automatic barrier, for reserving
a personal parking space, or keeping un-welcome
cars from staff parking areas. This cost
effective parking barrier gives you your car
parking space back, together with added
security. Works from the safety and security of
your vehicle using remote control, additional
remote controls can be purchased. The control
panel is simply located inside or out, 24V DC
power is then taken to the parking barrier, this
can be some distance away. The barrier and motor
is firmly bolted to a concrete base, (the front
bolts cannot be removed when the barrier is up)
and there is full adjustment on the motor force
for safe operation. There is also an extra wide
version, the MySpot 102, which works exactly as
the standard MySpot 101, but is ideal for
protecting wider driveways etc. The MySpot101 is
350mm wide and the MySpot102 is 800mm wide. Full
fitting instructions are supplied. There is an
affordable battery back-up option, allows the
MySpot systems to work during power failures.
This one system will work on 4 MySpot’s and is
suitable for the 101 and 102 systems. You can
also expand the number of barriers up to total
of four without having to purchase four complete
systems. We supply a simple plug in expansion
board for each barrier. Can be used with both
sizes of barrier in any combination.
Installation of the MySpot is relatively
straightforward as the cable joining our Control
Panel and unit only carries 24 Volt DC
electricity, and just needs to be run in a 100mm
deep trench down the length of the parking
space. Full installation instructions are
provided.
For us to install 4 of the
MySpot’s can vary between £150-£300 + VAT per
unit
dependant on the particular site, what is
actually required, as well as location and
specification.
The higher installation
price includes for Steel Conduit to provide a
more robust installation should this be
necessary from the risk assessment that needs to
be carried out. |
